woke up with a sore throat today and have been sniffling the whole day. Bummer! I found some cold medicine pills in my travel first aid kid so I took those. I'll have to try and find some cough drops tomorrow for the throat.

I was surprized today at breakfast to see a co-worker here already. It turns out 3 of our group arrived last night. I thought they were all coming tomorrow - so it was nice to have some additional people here. Today went pretty fast so hopefully that will be reflective of the rest of the week.

The 4 of us went for dinner at the hotel. Then I took 2 of them for a quick walk through downtown to point out a few stores.

The temperature is down a bit today - still humid, but not miserable like it has been. According to our co-worker Sunday the temperature will change and it will get cooler at night now. I am not sure what is special about August 7th - but I hope she is right!

Well, I am going to head to bed and hope some extra sleep will fight this cold.
